As photographers, weddings always keep us on our toes, force us to constantly think outside the box and test all the limits of our professional skills. To us, they are the ultimate form of event photography because there is no room for just "good" wedding photography. A photographer either completely captures the essence and soul of your big day and delivers you a catalog of well-crafted, classic and artistic images or they don't. We both know how important our pictures are for the couples we work with and put years of experience and effort into every single picture we capture for you.
A lot of people ask us why we prefer to work together as a team. The main reason is that it is so important for us to make sure that we are giving you a wide variety of images from two different perspectives. Every moment captured really depends on who captures it and how they see it. Having both of us document your event means that we can capture the same moment, but with two unique lenses. In addition, many moments and events require one of us to light our subject and one of us to photograph it. Other times, Sheena will set up the shot (like a bride's dress) while I am photographing the morning and then I can photograph the dress that is now ready while Sheena lights it. This saves time and ensures that we won't miss any important moments due to set up time.
